In honor of Jacob Rodriguez; Autism Strong now offers a one-time scholarship aimed to empower autistic students in their pursuit of higher education or vocational training, celebrating the diverse talents and perspectives they contribute to our communities and the academic sphere. When Jacob and his parents were preparing for his college journey they found there were not many college scholarships to apply for that celebrate ASD students continuing their education by financially supporting them. Now there is.

Please note you must reside in our service area and have an autism diagnosis to qualify.

Residency & Service Area:

Must reside and receive services in one of the following counties:

North Carolina: Mecklenburg, Union, Gaston, Cabarrus, Iredell, Lincoln, Alexander, Catawba, Cleveland, Rowan, Stanly, Durham, Orange, Wake, Chatham, Buncombe, Henderson

South Carolina: York, Lancaster, Chester, Chesterfield

You must provide a medical autism diagnosis from a doctor or psychologist.

Media Agreement: If awarded a scholarship, you must be willing to provide photograph and be available for an interview by Autism Strong Foundation.
