Welcome to the 2026 James and Eileen Christmas Business Plan Competition submission site.
The site opens for business plan submissions on November 15, 2025, and the deadline for submissions of a 15-page business plan is Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, at midnight Eastern time.
All plans must only include students enrolled at the university for coursework during at least one semester from the summer of 2025, fall of 2025, or spring of 2026. Undergraduates and graduate students are welcome to submit a plan.
The plans will be reviewed by two faculty of the college from March 11th to March 24th of 2026, and the 5 business plan finalists and 5 pitch plan finalists will be announced on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026.
The competition will be held on Thursday, April 16th, 2026, from 1 - 3 pm in 201/202 Bent Hall
