Rules

All applications must include the following materials:

1. Cover Letter of no more than 300 words
2. Two Letters of Reccomendation on offical letterhead (One must be from a Professor)
3. College/University Transcripts (Transcripts must include the name of the applicant and school(s))
4. Support Information can consist of one or more of the following: • memberships (academic, professional and social organizations) • awards, fellowships, grants, scholarships, publications, etc. • Finlandia Foundation contacts, chapter activities or participation, if any

Requirements and Criteria

• Applicant must have U.S. or Finnish citizenship.
• Participant is a Finnish citizen who has completed at least one year of studies at a law faculty in Finland or in the EU, and has either applied to and is awaiting acceptance to, has been accepted to, or is currently enrolled in a law school within the United States that is approved by the American Bar Association, OR…
• Participant is an American citizen who has completed at least one year of studies at a law school in the U.S. and has either applied to and is awaiting acceptance to, has been accepted to, or is currently enrolled in the law faculty of a Finnish university.
