TTEF Student Scholarships – Now Open!
MWACA is proud to support the next generation of automotive service professionals through our student scholarship program. With generous support from TTEF donors, we offer a minimum of four $1,000 scholarships each year to help students pursuing a career in the automotive service industry cover tuition and educational expenses.
Each scholarship recipient also receives a
weekend training pass
to attend the VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo—one of the industry’s premier events for hands-on technical and management training. Instructors of the recipients are invited as well, and all are honored on stage during VISION’s Awards Ceremony.
This single application allows students to be considered for:
The TTEF Student Scholarship
The Des Moines Area Student Scholarship, a $1,000 award reserved for students who attend the Des Moines Chapter Career Panel on October 1. Eligible Des Moines applicants will also be automatically considered for the TTEF scholarship.
Des Moines Student Scholarship
MWACA’s Des Moines Chapter is proud to invest in the future of the automotive service industry right here in Iowa. The Des Moines Area Student Scholarship is a $1,000 award created to support local students who are passionate about pursuing a career in automotive service and repair.
This scholarship is open to students who attend the Des Moines Chapter Automotive Career Panel on October 1, 2025. By participating in this interactive event, students gain valuable insights from working professionals, explore career paths in the independent automotive industry, and connect with potential mentors and employers.
Eligible Des Moines students who apply will automatically be considered for both the Des Moines Area Student Scholarship and the TTEF Student Scholarship—offering even more opportunity to receive funding and professional recognition.
Deadline to apply for the Des Moines Student Scholarship is September 17, 2025.
