NEIRA offers the following three award programs to recognize outstanding individuals, properties, and initiatives shaping the future of New England hospitality. These awards celebrate leadership, innovation, and long-term dedication to the industry while highlighting the people and ideas that move our community forward.
Innovator Award
The NEIRA Innovator Award recognizes an individual, property, or management company that has introduced a creative, forward-thinking idea or initiative that positively impacts operations, guest experience, marketing, sustainability, or overall business performance.
Key Holder Award
The Key Holder Award recognizes rising hospitality professionals under the age of 35 who represent the future of our industry. Honorees demonstrate leadership, innovation, industry involvement, and a strong commitment to hospitality. Each year, NEIRA selects a Key Holder Class, with one individual named Key Holder of the Year.
Lifetime Achievement Award - Master of New England Innkeeping (accepting nominations for 2027)
This award honors an individual or couple whose long-term leadership and service have made a lasting impact on the New England lodging industry through dedication, influence, and a commitment to strengthening the hospitality community.
