The Proctor Foundation for Art and Science is offering an annual all expenses paid scholarship for 8 community college students and faculty. Applicants must be either a full-time student or full-time faculty at an accredited community college in the United States. Recipients will receive the opportunity to attend summer Space Camp. We encourage black, indigenous and people of color to apply.

The Proctor Foundation for Art and Science was founded by Dr. Sian Proctor who, along with her Inspiration4 crew members, was inducted into the Space Camp Hall of Fame in 2022. Inspiration4 is a proud supporter of Space Camp. 

The scholarship includes: travel, meals, lodging, education materials, and more!

Space Camp dates are July 10 - 12, 2026, with July 9 as a travel day.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be eighteen years or older and enrolled full-time or work full-time at an accredited community college in the US.
  • Students must be majoring in a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) related subjects such as, but not limited to: literature, graphic design, music, poetry, creative writing, film or television production, immersive media, journalism, women's studies, gender studies, biology, chemistry, physics, computers, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or statistics.
  • Faculty must teach in a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) related subject such as, but not limited to: literature, graphic design, music, poetry, creative writing, film or television production, immersive media, journalism, women's studies, gender studies, biology, chemistry, physics, computers, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or statistics.
  • Applicants must live in the United States full-time or part-time and must have legal documentation to reside in the United States.
  • Upon acceptance, students must submit their official community college transcript.
  • Recipients are limited to a $1,000 or less airfare stipend.
