In honor of Shaw's commitment to creating a better future and supporting future workforce development, the company introduced the Associate Dependent Scholarship Program awarded to deserving students of associates at Shaw. Today, this program is called the Shaw Associate Dependent Education Grant.
This education grant was created to help the dependents of Shaw associates realize their dreams of continuing their education at a college, university or technical school. Since its creation in 2019, the associate dependent education grant program has awarded scholarships to 739 students. Students must exhibit a passion for creating a better future for themselves and their communities. We are proud to invest in future leaders on their journeys to creating a better future.
2026 Program Overview
This education grant was created to help the dependents of Shaw associates realize their dreams of continuing their education at a college, university or technical school. Students must exhibit a passion for creating a better future for themselves and their communities.
Program Details:
- A one-time education grant for high school seniors or secondary school students completing their final year, attending a two-year or four-year college, university or technical school.
- The education grant will be disbursed directly to the college, university or technical school where the student enrolls in Summer or Fall of 2026.
- This program may be discontinued at any time without notice.
Application Process:
- To apply, please have the student/dependent complete the application online by 3/2/2026. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
- A current transcript clearly displaying GPA must be included in the application.
- Recipients will be selected after the deadline and all applicants will be notified of their status by the end of April.
