Springboard to Design gives students the chance to dive into the world of theatre design and discover new artistic possibilities—no experience required! With housing available and tuition fully covered, this program is built to remove barriers for the next generation of theatre designers - expanding their sense of community, collaboration, and imagination.

There will be a $25 application fee. If for any reason you are unable to afford the fee, or if it causes stress on family finances, please reach out through our contact form for a voucher.

Once you begin the application, you may save and log out. Take note of your credentials to log back in later to finish your applicaiton. 

The application includes:

  • a brief questionnaire 
  • three short written responses
  • an art sample (visual or aural)
  • an introduction video 
  • two required references 
  • a parent/guardian acknowledgement of the commitment
