Agriculture Mechanics Grant Program
Eligibility Requirements:
Any certified, active 9th-12th grade teacher (addressing Agriculture Mechanics and Metal Technologies, Agriculture Structures Design and Fabrication, Agriculture Equipment Design and Fabrication, and/or Agricultural Power Systems TEKS) in a public school.
OR
9th-12th grade teacher (addressing Agriculture Mechanics and Metal Technologies, Agriculture Structures Design and Fabrication, Agriculture Equipment Design and Fabrication, and/or Agricultural Power Systems TEKS) in an accredited non-public secondary educational institution.
How will grants be awarded?
Ten $2,500 grants will be awarded from the Texas Farm Bureau state office. Once applications are received, they are judged and selected by a panel of judges.
Grant funds will be paid to the public school or accredited non-public secondary educational institution named in the grant application. Grant funds will not be paid to an individual.
