Description
2027 University Psychedelic Education Program (U-PEP) Application
Program Overview
The University Psychedelic Education Program (U-PEP) is a philanthropically supported initiative that equips higher education faculty across disciplines with the knowledge, resources, and community to integrate evidence-based psychedelic content into their curricula—laying the groundwork for the next generation of practitioners, researchers, and educators.
U-PEP’s model creates a multiplier effect: we educate faculty, who in turn educate their students, who go on to educate patients, policymakers, and communities. Our interprofessional approach is central to U-PEP’s vision of cultivating a health workforce that is prepared to discuss psychedelic-assisted care with patients, guide referrals, and, for some providers, deliver treatment. Please note that U-PEP is currently limited to full-time faculty at schools of nursing, social work, medicine, psychology, counseling, physician assistant/associate, and public health.
Mission & Vision:
The Psychedelic Education Partnership advances evidence-based, interdisciplinary education to prepare the healthcare workforce for psychedelic science and care—equipping faculty, students and clinicians with the knowledge and confidence to engage in this emerging field thoughtfully, ethically and within professional scope.
The Psychedelic Education Partnership envisions a future in which the healthcare workforce is prepared to responsibly and ethically engage with psychedelic-assisted care for the benefit of individuals, families and communities.
