Why mentoring?
Mentoring helps you build valuable connections with fellow VSCPA members. Whether you're looking to gain knowledge, receive guidance or grow professionally, a mentoring relationship can provide the support and insight you need to reach your goals.
How does the mentoring program work?
Getting started is easy - just apply, and we’ll match you with a mentee. Once paired, you’ll decide how often to meet, whether virtually or in person. The program is self-directed, but we’ll help you get started with a kickoff call in September and a guide to set goals and build a strong connection.
By applying, mentees and mentors are committing to actively participate in the program from September through April. This includes responding to communications and making time for regular check-ins. If your availability changes during the application period, June through August, please let us know as soon as possible.
Program Details
- Applications close on August 7, 2026.
- Mentors and mentees are matched and introduced by the end of August.
- The program starts in September, with a kick-off call, and runs through April.
