The City of Philadelphia funded 4,000 quality pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) seats at over 150 locations in the current (2021-22) school year and plans to expand by up to 300 seats in the coming (2022-23) school year.
This application is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Pre-Qualified Providers. The RFQ process is designed to develop a pool of Providers to be considered for slot awards in FY23 that result from redistribution for existing contracts or increased funding to support program expansion. Only responses to this application will be eligible to contract with the Intermediary (or its designee) and receive City funds for Pre-K during Fiscal Year 2023. Applicants will receive notice of qualifications. Funding for all expansions and renewals is contingent upon the availability of appropriations.
