Awardee Requirements:
Founding Team: Emory University alumnus/a is a founding member of the company described in the nomination. Awardees are not required to serve in the Chief Executive Officer role, but must have served as a member of the founding leadership team. Nominees in the Adviser and Venture Capitalist categories are excluded from this requirement.
Revenue: Company has verifiable annual revenue of one million or more for the past fiscal year. Company has verifiable annual revenue for at least three fiscal years. Nominees in the Adviser, Emerging, Social Enterprise, Student, and Venture Capitalist categories are excluded from this requirement.
Awardee Benefits:
Awardees will be spotlighted on the Emory Alumni Association website and social channels. Awardees will be asked to participate in a story to be featured on EmoryWire, the online magazine of the Emory Alumni Association.
Awardees will be celebrated at a reception in April 2025 in Atlanta.
Awardees will be invited to speak with students on campus or get involved in other Emory activities as their schedule/interest permits.
Awardees will receive an acknowledgment from George L. Fenves, President of Emory University.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: Friday, Novmeber 1 at 11:59 PM EST. After review by a selection committee of alumni volunteers, awardees will be notified in December 2024 and then be announced to the entire community in February 2025.
