In keeping with its continuing support for education, ARTA offers two annual scholarship programs that are awarded to students continuing their post-secondary studies: the ARTA-TW Insurance Degree Scholarship and the ARTA Certificate/Diploma Scholarship. The Scholarship Selection Committee selects six recipients per scholarship. The winners of the scholarships are direct relatives of current ARTA members. These scholarships recognize academic achievement, community involvement, volunteer work, future goals and personal accomplishments. If you have successfully completed one or more full years of a certificate/diploma or undergraduate/transfer program provided by an accredited post-secondary institution, we welcome you to explore the following scholarship opportunities.

The Scholarship Selection Committee will consider all valid applications. The committee’s decision is final. The value of the scholarship fund is dispersed as follows: $5,000.00 (up to two will be awarded per scholarship) $3,000.00 (up to two will be awarded per scholarship) $2,000.00 (up to two will be awarded per scholarship). Applications are welcome from direct relatives (children, grandchildren, first and second generation nieces and nephews) who are sponsored by current ARTA members. The scholarships are limited to those applicants who have successfully completed the first, second or third year of an undergraduate or transfer program leading to a first degree.

An official transcript from the post-secondary institution(s) must accompany the application. (Only official transcripts will be returned.)

Applicants must supply two letters of reference. Contact information with the name, address, telephone number and email address of each reference must be included. The selection committee reserves the right to contact references.

The ARTA office must receive applications no later than July 31 of the current year. Scholarship applicants will be notified of the committee’s decision by September 15 of the current year. Applicants who have previously received a Degree Scholarship or a Certificate/Diploma Scholarship through ARTA do not qualify for a subsequent scholarship.
