THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT NOMINATIONS IS APRIL 1st, 2023.
 

When submitting a nomination, we highly recommend drafting your responses in a Word/Google document and copying them into the nomination form when ready to submit. This system will time out if the form is open for too long. 

Create a Reviewr account so that you will receive a confirmation of your nomination. 

On the brief nomination form, you will be asked to provide:

1. Nominator name, email, and relationship to nominee

2. Why are you nominating this individual for Emory Alumni Board service?

The purpose of the Emory Alumni Board (EAB) is to provide a representative alumni body that will advise the Emory Alumni Association (EAA) and facilitate the successful advancement of the EAA’s mission. The alumni members represent Emory’s diverse alumni population and each of Emory’s current and historic degree-granting schools. Emory Alumni Association mission: We connect alumni to the university and to each other, build traditions, foster student and alumni leadership, serve the diverse needs and interests of our community, and create opportunities for investment in Emory's future.

If you know of someone passionate for Emory with a great talent and skillset for volunteer leadership that you wish to nominate to serve on the EAB, who is not currently serving on another Emory school or unit alumni board, or whose service on another Emory board will end prior to September, please submit your nomination here. Self-nominations are welcomed.

Nominees will receive a link where they can confirm their interest in being considered for EAB service and complete the application.

Expectations of Service in Brief

1. Serve a two-year term. Upon completion the first term, member may be appointed for up to two additional two-year terms if expectations have been met (six years total).

2. Attend EAB and committee meetings, including two in-person meetings each year. International EAB members may attend virtually and may have a different meeting cadence.

3. Represent the EAB by attending Emory Alumni Association events on campus or in their region or country.

4. Cultivate alumni for the volunteer leadership pipeline.

5. Give annually to the EAB Leadership Scholarship.

6. Be responsible for travel expenses associated with in-person board meeting attendance.
