The City of Philadelphia funded 4,000 quality pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) seats at over 150 locations in the current (2021-22) school year and plans to expand by up to 300 seats in the coming (2022-23) school year.
This Renewal Application is for provider locations contracted with PHLpreK in FY22. Providers wishing to move PHLpreK operations from the currently funded location to a new location or wish to apply for a location not funded in FY22 will be required to complete the full competitive FY23 Rquest for Qualifications for Pre-Qualification. Only responses to this application will be eligible to contract with the Intermediary (or its designee) and receive City funds for Pre-K during Fiscal Year 2023. Applicants will receive notice of qualifications. Funding for all expansions and renewals is contingent upon the availability of appropriations.
