Welcome to the 2022 Panasci Technology Entrepreneurship Competition!

The competition will take place in-person.

Applications from competitors are due on March 4, by 11:59 p.m. ET

First-round pitchs: March 8 and March 9. 

Second-round pitchs: March 14 and March 15.

Finalists compete live on April 19 and April 20. 

All competitors, students, UB and Western New York community members, sponsors and interested parties are welcome to attend the finals.

The Henry A. Panasci Jr. Technology Entrepreneurship Competition was created by the UB School of Management and the the UB Office of Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships. Funded with a $1 million endowment from the late Henry A. Panasci Jr., the program brings UB students from science, technology, business and other disciplines together to maximize their potential to create viable businesses in Western New York.  

More than $50,000 is available in prizes!

  • First Place: $25,000 seed funding plus in-kind services valued at $27,000 for a total value of $52,000
  • Second Place: $10,000 seed funding
