The Business Post Sustainable Business Awards celebrate outstanding leadership, innovation and impact in sustainability across Ireland’s business community. Now in their fifth year, the Awards have become a benchmark for excellence in Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) practice, recognising organisations of all sizes that are driving meaningful progress towards a more sustainable economy and society.
The EV Awards will return in 2026 as part of the Sustainable Business Awards, bringing together the full sustainability ecosystem under one event. This expanded programme underscores how innovation in low-carbon transport, renewable energy and broader decarbonisation strategies are integral to Ireland’s ambition to build greener, more resilient business models. Ireland’s business landscape is increasingly defined by commitments to circular economy principles, carbon reduction targets and investment in sustainable solutions that deliver long-term environmental and commercial value.
Past winners have included An Post, Bus Eireann, Bord na Mona and University College Cork.
The awards are adjudicated upon by an independent panel of experts in environmental, social and governance issues.
Entry to the Awards is entirely free and open to all businesses based in or operating from Ireland. The winners of the 2026 awards will be announced during a gala ceremony on Thursday October 1st 2026 at the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin 2.
Nomination window will be open in March 2026.
