Award Description
The NASTT Canadian Project of the Year Award honors outstanding trenchless technology projects in Canada that exemplify innovation, technical excellence, and significant contributions to the advancement of trenchless methods. Awards are given in two categories: New Installation and Rehabilitation. The award is presented at No-Dig North.
Eligibility:
- Projects must be located within Canada or Canadian Territories.
- Projects must have been completed, or due for completion, during the time preceding the current No-Dig North and not before the previous No-Dig North.
- Nominations must include a current corporate or individual Member of NASTT.
- Projects may be submitted by any qualified participating organization involved in the work, including owners, engineers, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, utilities, or consultants.
- Failure to include and agree to participate in all required components with your application may result in disqualification without further review.
Criteria
Submissions will be judged in five categories:
- Uniqueness
- Difficulty of design & construction
- Innovation
- Overall impression
- Quality of submission
Winning Profile (Example)
A winning Canadian Project of the Year submission will:
- Clearly demonstrate exceptional technical achievement in trenchless technology
- Overcome significant and well-articulated challenges
- Showcase meaningful innovation that advances industry practice
- Deliver measurable outcomes or impact (technical, environmental, social, or economic)
- Be clearly and professionally presented, making the project easy to understand and evaluate
