EMRA’s MedWAR (Medical Wilderness Adventure Race) is a unique event designed to teach and test wilderness survival and medical skills.  This event provides residents and medical students an opportunity for hands-on wilderness medicine experience. The best way to learn wilderness medicine is to get outside and practice. 

Rules

Complete this form to indicate your interest in serving as a volunteer for the EMRA MedWAR Race.  We'll do our best to ensure all volunteers are placed. You must be 100% certain you can volunteer for the entire day. It may be possible that not everyone who volunteers will receive a placement.

By completing this form, you understand:

  • You are responsible for your own travel expenses to/from ACEP26 in Chicago, Illinois.
  • You agree to comply with all park rules and regulations.
  • You will need to meet at the park by 7 am, transportaion is available.
  • You will be available to physically volunteer from 7 am to 5 pm.
  • You confirm you are physically fit and capable of participating outside for the entirety of the event.


EMRA will provide food and beverages throughout the day for all volunteers.
