NCA Interest Group Awards celebrate excellence by recognizing scholars and teachers who have made significant contributions to communication research, pedagogy, and service. 

Members are invited to submit nominations for colleagues who exemplify outstanding achievement in the field.

Before You Begin

  • Review the full requirements on the Call for Nominations page
  • Gather required materials—nomination letter, nominee's CV, supporting letters, work samples, etc.
  • Plan to submit materials before the deadline: May 27, 2026, 11:59 PM PT

Submission Guidelines

  • Nominees must have an active NCA membership
  • Read award criteria on the awards page before submitting—each award has unique requirements
  • Complete all required fields—incomplete nominations will not be accepted
  • Save and return: You can save your progress and return to complete your nomination later
  • Confirmation email will be sent upon successful submission
